Keeping Well and Staying Safe

Student working on a circuit boardWe are hoping that your experience of living and studying in the UK will be happy and that you will not experience any problems whilst you are here. If you do find yourself in any kind of trouble there are people and organisations that can help you through any difficulties.

This section covers some of the topics that may affect you, your family or friends during your time in the UK and provides you with some suggestions as to who to approach for help or advice.

Topics include harassment, racism, rape, being accused of a crime, what to do if someone you know has gone missing and what to do if you or a friend have a serious injury, or require help with mental difficulties. There are also questions about being in Bristol and feeling safe in a large urban area and strategies for staying safe, particularly at night.
