Under immigration rules you are expected to return to your home country after completing your period of study. As an EEA/Swiss national, however, you may stay in the UK and do not need to be looking for employment.
Non EEA nationals wanting to stay in the UK after their studies have finished would need to switch to a different immigration status that would allow this. There are several different ways of doing this; some students seek permission to stay under nationality, marriage status or ancestory.
If you intend to stay in the UK after completing your studies, please contact Student Advice and Welfare Services (SAWS) as early as possible.
