If you decide to leave the University or you are required to do so, you must consider how this will affect your immigration status. It is a serious offence to remain in the UK if you have a student visa but are no longer a student and you will be at risk of being returned to your home country. The Student Advice and Welfare Service can advise you on compliance with immigration requirements if you withdraw from the University.
