What do I do about a lost or stolen passport or lost or stolen papers?

If your passport or papers are stolen, you should report this to a local police station as soon as possible. In order to obtain duplicate documentation, you will need proof that the originals have been stolen or gone missing, which the police will be able to provide if you report the matter to them. The telephone numbers for the police stations close to the UWE sites are:

Bath 0845 456 7000
Bristol 0845 456 7000
Hartpury 0845 090 1234
Swindon 0845 408 7000

If you are unable to contact the police station, PC Mike Lynett at the Frenchay Campus of the University on tel. (0117) 32 82669 will be able to help.

If you need to apply for a new passport, or to have alterations made to your existing one, please contact the Embassy or High Commission of the country that issued your original passport. For addresses and telephone numbers of Embassies please contact Student Advice and Welfare Services.
