You can find out about part-time jobs, temporary or casual work by visiting the Students' Union Jobshop (The Patio, Frenchay Campus). If you join the Jobshop you will automatically receive a weekly e-mail giving details of all the available job vacancies.
Vacancies for temporary work in the University are also advertised by the UWE Temporary Staff Unit.
The Career Development Unit (CDU) (2D11, Frenchay Campus) can provide you with extensive information and advice about employment, training and further study (including opportunities after graduation and work experience opportunities), and practical help with job-hunting and making applications. The CDU website links to sources of graduate job vacancies including GradSouthWest where all graduate vacancies notified to UWE are advertised.
You may find that work permit barriers may prevent you from gaining full time employment in the UK or EU at the end of your studies. For more information about work permits visit UWE's Student Advice and Welfare Services (3F, Frenchay Campus) or the research links on the UKCOSA website.
