Where can I get help with my English during the term; can I take an English language class while I am studying for my award?

Language Support is a service provided by UWE to international students who have difficulties with the English Language. These difficulties may be in reading, writing, speaking or listening. The Language Support Service will make it easier for you to read academic texts and to write assignments. The service will also help you to listen more effectively in lectures and to do yourself justice in tutorials and seminars where speaking and listening are important.

At present the service is only available to international students who pay full-cost fees. The Language Support Service is free.

All international students who wish to apply for Language Support should collect a form from HLSS Information Point (3E31) or download an application form. Forms should be returned by 26 October 2007.
