In the event of an accident or serious emergency:
- on campus, dial 9999 from any internal telephone, 0117 328 9999 from a mobile or other external phone.
- off campus dial 999 to reach the (free) UK Public Emergency number.
You will be asked if you require an ambulance, the police or the fire brigade. Be ready to give your name and address and the nature of the emergency. If you are not seriously injured, you are expected to make your own way to a hospital emergency department.
