I have dyslexia or a specific learning difficulty, what support is available to me?

The Disability Service can advise you how to arrange a dyslexia identification test and also how to organise tuition for specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. However, please note that international students are not able to apply to the University Access to Learning funds for financial assistance in obtaining an updated dyslexia assessment. If English is not your first language, it is also possible that this may affect the production of an accurate educational psychologist's report (dyslexia assessment). It is preferable that you obtain an appropriate report from your own country where possible.

Please contact theDisability Service for further information.

The Disability Service is situated in Room 1E22, on Frenchay Campus close to the National Westminster Bank and shops. The service is easily accessible to all students and is fitted with a push pad sliding door entrance, an induction loop system and a minicom.
